Duties of Supervisour
- Guide the student in selecting and refining the research problem and plan.
- Follow up the student's work on a regular basis and keep written records of progress.
- Ensure that the research complies with SAS academic and ethical regulations.
- Advise on methodology, literature, field work and laboratory techniques.
- Read draft chapters and the final thesis within a reasonable time.
- Recommend continuation, extension or cancellation of registration when necessary.
- Participate in the examination board according to SAS rules.
- Avoid conflict of interest and respect the intellectual contribution of the student.
